Radio Ambulante

Since early 2015, I have been working with the production team at Radio Ambulante  as their Director of Education.  My job is to work with teachers to think about ways in which RA’s stories can be used in the language classroom.

In February 2016, I worked with members of the RA team to create a series of blog posts about teachers who use RA in the classroom, and asked teachers to share lesson plans they have used with their students.  I began the series with this post

Over the past couple of years this project has been gaining momentum.  There is now a Facebook group with over 2000 members.  We produce a monthly newsletter for teachers in which we provide tips, resources, and feature a teacher who uses Radio Ambulante in their classroom (along with the teaching materials they have developed and are willing to share) .  The newsletter has over 2,000 subscribers. If you are interested in signing up please do so here!
